Why Daycare For Dogs?

The purpose of Dog Daycare is to provide stimulation, exercise, and socialization for your pet. Your dog's personality can be strongly influenced by the amount of physical and mental stimulation he/she receives on a daily basis.

Mellow Room

Many troublesome behaviors that our dogs display are a direct result of boredom, anxiety, and loneliness. They hunger for companionship of other dogs and people.

Daycare Basics:

Dogs can spend as much time in the playgroup area as the owner wishes. There is also a separate room for relaxing with dog beds. They will play with their canine buddies, as well as the staff of The Dog House, in a safe and supervised environment. Staff members will rotate outdoor walks for the dogs every 2 hours. The Dog House has controlled temperatures for the dogs, as well as a very clean environment with circulated air.

Screening:

All dogs must be dog friendly and spayed/neutered. Initial screening of some dogs is required and proof of distemper, rabies, and bordatella must be faxed to us from your vet prior to your dog's first visit.

BOARDING

Condo Kennel

Not your typical kennel:

At The Dog House, boarding your pet is quite different than taking him/her to a large kennel facility. Each morning, your dog's day begins with a personalized walk, quickly followed by breakfast before the daycare troops arrive.

Throughout the day, your dog will interact with all of the canine daycare goers. He/she will not be stuck in a kennel all day long. Your dog will also be incorporated into all daycare activities and playgroups, including walks every 2 hours.
There are four different sleeping arrangements that your dog could have. A standard kennel, a hotel kennel, a condo with his/her own window, or if you have an older dog that is very mellow, he/she can stay in the mellow room. It really is a nice vacation for your dog, while you are away on your vacation.

We ask that you provide your dog's bed, food, and any special items for their comfort and enjoyment.

Boarding in your home:

The Dog House can also board your dog at his/her own home. We will provide morning, noon, and night visits in order to allow your pet to stay in his/her familiar surroundings.

The Dog House will pick up or drop off your pet for your daycare and boarding needs.

Hotel Kennel

We will also allow you to vacation happily knowing that a professional is caring for your pet in the comfort of your own home. We will customize visits at your home to meet the needs of your pet while you are out of town or simply at work for the day. Even if you would like to enjoy skiing/boarding on a powder day without having to worry about your pet, we can accommodate a visit. Walks with the daycare group can also be incorporated into your pet's day.

Full Day 1 Dog $30, 2 Dogs $55
Half Day 1 Dog $23, 2 Dogs $40
(Half day is 5 hours or less)
10 Visit Card - $25 A Day
